Suresh Chandra Mohanty

Suresh Chandra Mohanty is an Indian Odia writer who belonged to the 1974 batch of the Indian Forest Service (IFS) and retired as the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Odisha. He earned a reputation for performing his duties diligently in various positions within both state and central governments.

He was a student of Ravenshaw Collegiate School and Ravenshaw College, where he topped the Higher Secondary Board Examination. He later completed his M.Sc. from Utkal University, also receiving the prestigious National Science Merit Scholarship.

His paternal home is in Kohlasi village of Jajpur district, and he is a resident of Shaheed Nagar, Bhubaneswar. Deeply immersed in the study of scriptures and spiritual literature, his recent publication is “Bhagbat Tatwara Gyana o Anubhaba.”
